Permanent design role for public digital services, where accessibility is a legal requirement rather than a nice-to-have: UX, layout, typography and design systems that pass audit.
Key responsibilities
- Design print and web assets for public digital services
- Design accessible web experiences that meet public-sector accessibility obligations
- Own UX, layout and typography across the platform
- Build and maintain icon sets and embed them in font families
- Implement and hand off designs in HTML, CSS and JavaScript; work with WordPress where relevant

Your profile
- Print and web design; confident with modern design tools
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- WordPress
- Accessible web design (WCAG / public-sector accessibility rules)
- UX, layout and typography; icon creation and font embedding
- German C1 or better
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional experience in the relevant design disciplines
- Degree or equivalent portfolio-backed practical experience
- Public-sector or regulated digital-service references welcome
