Permanent observability role owning an Elastic estate end to end: ECE configuration, Kibana dashboards, alerting and synthetics monitoring for a large public platform.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and set up Elastic; own Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) configuration and setup
- Build dashboards and analyses in Kibana
- Create and manage alerts; monitor websites and services with synthetics monitors
- Analyse incidents from log and metric data
- Optimise ECE storage and query performance
- Administer Linux servers; operate applications in Kubernetes

- Elastic configuration and setup - 5+ years; Kibana dashboards and analyses - 5+ years
- Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) configuration; storage and query optimisation - 2+ years
- Linux server administration; running applications in Kubernetes - 2+ years
- Alerting and synthetics monitoring - 2+ years
- German C1 or better
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- Independent working on complex observability problems
- Public-sector or large-platform references welcome
